First Love

Well, jee, she was pretty…
Gross I mean.
I don’t know why we even talked.
Just standing there in her bright pink floral dress
And her dark chocolate hair
At least that’s what it reminded me of..
Ugh it disgusted me when her face cracked a smile
And her eye brow rose.
Rose, the color of her lips, it was usually chapped
Her “S’s” were wrong just like mine,
I hated it

I Wish I Could Sleep Now

Don’t you remember when “ its time for bed”
Or  “its past your bed time”
You shook your head
And trotted away instead
You thought “my body is mine”
“ ill sleep when im dead”

Writers as readers

1. When I read I usually find comfortable. Other than that I don’t really have a preference to where it is I read. Obviously not somewhere extreme, but it doesn’t bother me if I have to read on a couch or a desk.
2. Usually I enjoy reading mystery or murder type books. The only reason why I like this genre of books is because it captures my attention and keeps it longer than other books. Compared to other genres like adventure or sci-fi mysteries keep me thinking and interested.
7. The very first book that I read, that I remember, was Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax. I’m not really sure why it stands out to me but I remember it the most now. When I went to go see The Lorax in theatres I was really excited because I remember everything from the book.
8. my favorite book would probably have to be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelo. I just think that the book has a lot to offer and is interesting in several different ways. The book is about a young boy how has committed his life to be a shepherd. He parts from his family and begins to travel with his sheep. Then he comes across a psychic that tells him that he will find a treasure in the pyramids of Giza. After hearing so he is stopped by a wise king who tells him his fortune of have a personal legend. His mind sparks, and he puts one and one together to conclude that this must be omens. So he sets out on a journey to find his treasure and personal legend. On the way he finds friends and foes that help him shape his character. This book is amazing the story is made so well and the characters feel like real people.

Dreaming?

So apperantly there have been dream studies that have led to an interesting conclusion. The conclusion states that under certain circumstances you can actually experience your dream. This is called lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is a state of mind where you are conciously aware in your dream. Lucid dreaming isnt an easy state of mind to achieve, the reason being is as soon as you realize youre “awake”  your mind makes you wake up. So once you dream lucidly you will then soon break your dream state.  Or do you? you see, there is a certain technique that can help you lucid dream. Stay in a warm environment and try to keep your body completely still while you fall asleep. Second, this is the most important part, think of one defined object or “thing”. Once you have done this you can fall asleep and hopefully wake up in your dreams.

Dream Thread

I think about the good times I've had with my friend and the friends I've lost. They were the wildest people I knew. I had alot of different friends in alot of different places. Some in Korea and some in America. everywhere i went they were attracted to me and I to them. A long time ago we would always play this game where one of us was on a bike with a green, plastic, jumbo bat and that person would just try and hit us. It was so funny, i would cry, even now my eyes are burning from reminiscing.
